Tiana was born in Las Vegas, Nevada. She currently resides in Burke County. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Arizona Global Campus with a bachelor’s in Criminal Justice and a Bachelors in Sociology. She is slated to graduate this spring with a Master’s in Criminal Justice specializing in Forensic Science. She has worked in federal/state government for over 10 years and has a reputation for making the impossible, POSSIBLE, and fixing historic wrongs. She has worked with children and young adults with disabilities for over 10 years. Currently she works as a disability counselor for college students who have disabilities. She come from a military family. Her father is a Marine veteran, her great grandfather served in the Army during WWII, her husband is a Marine & National Guard veteran. She is a mother to three young boys. Two of which attend BCPS! She enjoys getting into the community and connecting with the young people. She coached little league baseball for two seasons. She is fierce with a smile. Aggressive yet passionate. She has extensively studied the Constitution and current policies professionally and personally. She served two terms as the Military Support and Leadership Club as President and loves meeting new people and spending time with her family while exploring this wonderful place we call home! She is running for Burke County Board of Education - Central District.
